The garden guest moved in and has been here for three days and being most cooperative about posing for eveyone.. I've taken so many images, it was hard to decide which to post.. taken with four cameras and two people, and one dog watching. She lets us get within inches and still doesn't fly away.. she must know that we are admiring her... This image isn't as sharp as I'd like, but she needed to get on with her day...

originally, this picture was of this old telephone pole I spotted earlier today, thinking it could possibly turn into a decent minimalistic photo. After staring at it and trying several different textures, this idea popped into my head. I created my disproportionate girl in photoshop elements, free handed and a few minutes later, voila.

Another beach trip yesterday, Bert was his most adventerous yet. Going for the Kong at full pace despite some large waves.

Small, but mighty House Wrens defend their territory and nests with no fear. The male House Wrens sing tirelessly from dawn until dusk and sometimes attend to more than one female on a nest.

'Find your' own seed'

At 1084 metres, Kjerag towers above the other peaks along the Lysefjord. It has been traditional to admire this mountain face from the fjord, but in recent years, it has become increasingly popular to walk up the path to the plateau.

Most people are happy just to enjoy the view of the Lysefjord from the plateau itself, but for some hikers, the climax of the excursion is to be photographed on the Kjeragbolten, a round rock wedged solidly in a mountain crevice.

Kjerag has also become a popular attraction for mountain climbers and base jumpers.
