Norbert is not so patient when taking pictures and often spontaneously makes his own decisions. He is afraid of almost nothing and looks for problems that he wants to clarify. He is also a Belgian Shepherd Dog .... of the variety "Laekenois"
I decided to wrap up my hooved wildlife series with a shot that actually shows some hooves. This Mountain Goat kid was only three or four weeks old, but it could speed across the boulders at the top of Mt. Evans like it was flat ground. Great fun watching that.

My "cute" quota for the next month or so. This guy didn't seem to be afraid of me. Rather friendly in fact.

Transpetrol Waves.
I work for a company named Transpetrol. My Company has an Online Magazine edition named as TP Waves. This shot is taken from the good vessel named Resolve. Weather is really not that bad it’s the swell. We seafarers are very much familiar with kind of a situation. If the weather is bad we do not work on deck so no Worries. I might send this photo for my office magazine if it is good. And you are all to decide whether it is worthy. Shot taken at A part of Atlantic. Thanks to all.

Landing a paraglider, as with all unpowered aircraft which cannot abort a landing, involves some specific techniques and traffic patterns.
Paragliding pilots most commonly lose their height by flying a figure of 8 in over landing zone until the correct height is achieved, then line up into the wind and give the glider full speed. Once the correct height (about a metre above ground) is achieved the pilot will 'stall' the glider in order to land.

I was being checked out as I wandered round the garden. She is a little rascal but does make me smile.
I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've had close encounters with a Coyote while I was on foot. This was the most recent, and here's what happened...
I was in a remote corner of the park, about to drive up into the hills, when I glanced to my left and saw a Coyote. It had bedded down in a dirt scrape on a hillside and was soaking up some mid-morning rays. I stopped, shot some pics from the car, and eventually it got up, yawned and stretched a couple of times, then disappeared over the crest of a low hill.
I drove a hundred metres farther up the road, hoping to get another viewing window, but the hill was in the way. Thinking I might be able to place myself in the Coyote's line of travel, I got out and climbed the hill, which took about 20 seconds. And I guessed right: there it was, ears up, watching me. I was downwind. That's a key. Coyotes live in an olfactory world. It saw me, but did it know what I am?
Hoping to arouse its curiosity, I ducked down in the tall grass, and saw its ears start to move toward me. Popped up to let it see me again, and back down. The Coyote circled me, coming into full view; by now I was lying on my back shooting across the length of my body as the animal moved in closer and closer. It showed no fear. Thirty feet; twenty. Eventually its head filled the frame, My best shots came a little before the full frame images. By then it had my scent, and - evidently satisfied - it turned away. Even when I sat up, then stood up, it didn't run, didn't flee. To win a wild animal's trust, even for a few minutes, is the highlight of any outing.
Photographed in Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan (Canada) despite the map's inability to differentiate Sask from Montana. Don't use this image on websites, blogs, or other media without explicit permission ©2021 James R. Page - all rights reserved.
This is the most docile Coyote we have ever seen. I saw this guy from far, when another car was following it. I thought it's a dog as it was running beside the car with an easy pace. Sometime latter, we found it and realized who it is. It followed the road without any hesitation and stopped intermittently in search of prey. Good 20 mins of absolute close viewing that my wife could take full frame pictures on her phone.
there is freedom waiting for you,
on the breezes of the sky,
and you ask, "what if I fall?"
oh, but my darling,
what if you fly?

I walk through the narrow and lonely streets of my old city, alone, I don't know what awaits me behind every corner, but I don't care, I'm not afraid, the magic of this place, I know it protects me, I keep going... looking for a why, looking for directions, for happiness and for love that we need... as I walk the lonely streets of this city.
(I was inspired today...I don't know why) 🤔
Thank you all and happy Monday!
The magic of the details in macro photography is for me, being able to carefully observe the beyond... it is that type of photography that allows us to see details that normally go unnoticed by the human eye.... and that fascinates me to see so close up.
Thank you very much for the visits, favorites and kind comments.
My granddaughter powering her way through the trees. She was so adept she did it twice whilst her brother and mother did it once. Her father and I watched! Not sure I would have done it at her age, certainly not now!
The street lamps, the solitude of that hour, the environment, the history of this place make it all very special for me..... I hope this little explanation of what you are seeing is a little special for you too.
This image was taken in my beloved city of Girona, more specifically in the old Jewish quarter. Those of you who follow me assiduously here on Flickr, know of my love for this city and its historical streets...
I'm going to tell you a little bit about how this image was taken to put it in context;
It was about 8 o'clock in the morning, a cold winter morning, I was already walking and photographing here, I do it very often, because I really love it and enjoy it a lot, these streets already know me... it's a real maze of narrow streets and corners with little light. This street in particular, is one of the widest there is, but some could not practically pass two people together. In this case, I was coming down one of those narrow streets that went perpendicular to this one, and in the distance I saw a woman crossing (she didn't see me, or at least I think she didn't) so, without making too much noise. I slowly walked down my street until I got to this one, I let her walk and I stopped in the middle of the street and saw that she was walking right down the middle, not even in my best dreams would this happen! It was great for my photography! Did she know I was there? Was it a game for her, the fact of not going out of that lane you see, while going to work? or wherever she went? ...the truth is I have no idea, but it was perfect for me!
I recognize that it takes courage to walk alone on these streets in this world today, where there is so much madness ... that woman and her courage inspired me and made my day ....
These next words you will read are not only for this brave woman, but for all the brave ones out there and for all the ones that will be very soon....
"Brave woman, is the one who in the midst of the trials
And the circumstances she faces in life, does not let herself be intimidated.
A brave woman is the one who suffers falls
But she gets up, heals her wounds and doesn't take another step back.
You are that courageous woman, who listens to me and identifies with this.
You know that the trials have been great but you keep your eyes upward.
You are that brave woman, who goes before God and bends your knees
Because you know that when you cry out to Him, you always conquer victory."
(lyrics taken from a song)
I wish you a happy Friday.... and photography, lots of photography!
Thanks to all my friends.
This guy let me get within 3 ft of him, so cool to be so close to this wonderful bird. He was in the shadows and the background was naturally overexposed which caused the natural white background. This was the highlight of my mid week sabbath time, such a delight
Watched this brown-head cowbird come to the bird feeder. Even though he was bigger than the beige bird, the beige bird seemed unaffected by his presence.
The cowbird puffed up one time and the beige bird continued to stay and eat. Finally, the cowbird gave the puffing a second try which is this picture. While he was very large and was shaking the bird feeder, it did not affect the beige bird.
Finally, the cowbird chased the beige bird off.
These photos are straight from camera (only downsized and copyright added) . These photos were taken as the sun was setting to the right, which seemed to add a nice light to the cowbird.
