Widest Roadside Rainbow I’ve Ever Seen - IMRAN™
I had just finished some food shopping in Apollo Beach when I got in the car. My German Shepherd Dogs Kennedy & K2 were waiting inside. The car was parked with a couple of trees to the East and a few other cars facing it. The sunset was approaching behind me.
I was about to start the engine when out of the corner of my eye I noticed something look unusual. I couldn’t be sure if I was seeing a sliver of a massively wide rainbow or some distant billboard.
I actually got out of the car to walk a few parking spots over to take a better look. A lady just getting into her SUV nearby saw me do that. She immediately said, I bet you got out to see the rainbow.
Sure enough. This is the widest rainbow I recall ever seeing on the road. I got back in the car to drive out of the parking lot to get a clearer view by the side of US41.
Normally I wait for vehicles to pass out of view when I’m taking a picture. But in this case I took two pictures to try to catch at least one in front of the rainbow just to show how darn wide this rainbow was.
This is a SOOC (straight out of camera) iPhone photo with no filter, no editing of any kind. I’m posting it as is, not to be a work of art but literally a simple view of how really wide it was.

I love traveling abroad & do it often, but March was really crazy for me. Today with the news of passing of someone I know yesterday (just a little older than me) made me realize I don’t want to go away this time at all. Rather spend next week here in New York, maybe LI. Just being close to my family, friends & places I love.

Stunning Serene Seaside Sunday Smiling Selfie Standing Straddling Swimming(Pool) Side - IMRAN™
After 6 years of relying on my DJI Phantom 4 drone, I decided to add a new aircraft to the "fleet"... the Mini 3 Pro. As a consumer I was amazed at how small and light it was for quite a high price. But as an electronics engineer who even knows how the stuff works inside, it always blows me away how (frankly) inexpensively we can buy gadgets for overnight delivery that governments at one time would have to wait years to develop.
Here's the first selfie panorama from today stunning seaside Sunday serenity scene at my blessed home in Apollo Beach on absolutely gorgeously blue and tranquil Tampa Bay. Kennedy was watching the drone and K2 was just chilling poolside. The blue water and blue sky were just perfect.
This was actually stitched from 2 photos but not one bit of editing or processing was done to the colors and tones. 125MB original image reduced to 45MB for posting here.
