I nearly froze (from very damp, very cold wind) taking this coupl'o hours ago. Still no sign of spring around Scarborough light house (UK

Ok so some of these guys finally crawled out of the water to hunt for the summer.

I figure everyone is posting their bug shots I may as well too.

Minimal edits. A comment, this shot is not a composite. All the reflections you see are real and captured simultaneously with an iPhone X. The photo nerd in me says “One of the neatest photo-ops of the season”!!!!

Traveling to work and the sunrise was amazing. Taken with the iPhone 6.

A beautifully crisp and deserted beach in winter time Scotland. I actually really like the unusual angle of this shot as it really shows the texture and depth within the sand. It also helps to transmit the visual feeling of being the only person there at that point in time.

And their way is magic

So why the name the promise? Well I felt that was general how I felt early this morning the promise of a new day. I had such hopes and aspirations for my photography. Unfortunately as is often with photography I came across some unique challenges.but sometimes these challenges are what tests us and makes us learn and grow. Some of the challenges I faced were simply due to inexperience with a new camera,Some to do with illness and lack of being able to shoot on a regular basis. At the end though what I did get from the day was the shear enjoyment of seeing new compositions and enjoying watching the light of a new day fall over Mother Nature. Lastly I actually spent a bit of time here just watching the light change as the sun rose. I felt quite pleased with this shot as I felt it had a nice balance of the sun light starting to brighten the very early morning light. It was also so peaceful i was the only person there and it just felt magical, which i hoped to convey in my shot.

straight out of the camera, thank fuji's velvia film simulation

Managed to take this as the suns was kind of behind me and lighting up parts of the tree and castle at the same time. I thought it looked kind of magical and it’s the moments that really grab me in photography. Life truly can be so beautiful!

She knew she loved him when ‘home’ went from being a place to being a person.. being him ❤️
