To be fair, they're at the extreme limit of the 'dog' area at Waiatarua Reserve Wetlands in Auckland.
The Frog Pond on the Boston Common is now closed to wading. But the snack bar beside it was still serving.
I've seen a lot of "No Dogs Allowed" signs around the world but nothing in my opinion compares to this beauty found in a park in Berlin.
At the bottom of our terrace is a group of fishing lakes which had been clay pits from the old brick works. People have walked through this lovely nature haven for probably over fifty years or more enjoying the wildlife and tranquil waters but now the fishing authorities have closed it off to the public, put up a huge barred padlocked gate and erected these ugly signs..
I wish I could afford to move out to the sticks...we are gradually being trodden down by developers and greed. Our green spaces are being built on and our views are lost with encroaching industry and ugly blocks of flats...

Christchurch was another town which banned dogs in the city center.
