Discarded nitrous oxide canisters from yesterday's high witness the passing of an eastbound CP manifest bound for the border. I remember getting down low as the train was pulling up and realizing there was a big pile of broken glass I was laying on. Somehow got out unscathed and without STDs.

seen at recent car show... you know you have made as a kid when you have a fenderless , flamed out , bright red, high boy pedal car. Equipped with nitrous for when those little legs get tired.... it's cool to be 7 years old!!!!

I saw it on a centuries-old oak tree covered with moss. The sunlight in the background was a little too much. I hope you like it.

Nitrous Bonnet - Mycena leptocephala / Mycenaceae - Mushrooms of this type grow in clusters on stumps and logs - particularly those of conifers - across North America, Asia, and Europe. Nitrous bonnets smell distinctively of bleach, radish, and garlic when crushed. They are not edible, and indeed, the smell should drive most people away.
The nitrous bonnet is a woodland mushroom. It is a terrestrial species, but it actually grows on fallen branches, twigs, needles, or in the grass. It is often associated with moss.

Best guess Nitrous Bonnet. Smells unpleasant . Cap 30mm. Stipe smooth, not brittle ,fibres at base of stem. There are 3 species that smell of ammonia or Iodine, I don't know what ammonia smells like or Iodine.

A beautiful bronze bust/relief on the grave of Horace Wells in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Wells was a dentist who popularized the use of Nitrous oxide as an anaesthetic. William James, I believe, popularized its recreational use.

It is difficult to focus when it is only 2-3 mm in size. Since it was sunny this morning, the light filtered naturally. I don't use extra light anyway. I know I'm a little late for the mushroom photo. Most of them were damaged and did not look good for photographs.
I saw it by chance on dry tree branches. It turned towards the sun between 2 dry brown leaves.
