I'm preparing to give a photography presentation on capturing motion next week and have been going through some older images. One of my favorite nights of long exposure photography came at the Iowa State Fair this past summer. I love shooting carnival rides. What are your favorite subjects to shoot for long exposures?
Nitro is one month into a 6 month police k9 training program. He is a 1 year old Belgian Malinois... He is poised and ready to go at ALL times!

Nitro 6% abv "infused with ... espresso". Yes, I can taste the notes of chocolate and caramel but the cherry escapes me.
This goes down very easily!
I would also advise that this is the wrong size of glass to use. It says "pour hard" on the can - which means you need a larger glass to contain the sizeable head.
I went out trapping last night. I have been in the mood to do a little TNR lately, and last night when I went out to feed the alley cats I thought "I should bring a trap along" Did I listen to myself? Nope!
When I got almost to the feeding station, I noticed this beautiful black cat sitting by the collapsing old building and I didn't even pull in the alley. I just kept on going, went home and got my traps. I went back and set up a trap at the feeding station. I could see the cat, but it took about an hour and a half to trap him. It was a fairly quiet Sunday evening, but every now and then someone would come along and disrupt my little scenario. At one point the cat was examining my trap when some people came along and he ran back to the building. So just after the people left, I put out my second trap which is still covered from when I trapped Luigi. I put it right beside this building and sure enough, a few minutes later I captured this beauty.
I took him home, put him in the basement and then examined him with a flashlight. I was pretty sure it was not Lexus since Lexus lives by my other feeding station. Of course, it didn't occur to me that it could be Nitro, the other black cat I TNR last year. The tipped ear that is so noticeable in the above photo was not so obvious to me until I got a good look at him. Then I saw the tattoo in his ear which did confirm his identity. This is Nitro, who spent about 10 minutes at my house last night before I drove him all the way across town again and then I released him. Isn't he beautiful?
................"Nitro-Glycerine"...............
It must be your skin I'm sinking in
It must be for real 'cause now I can feel
And I didn't mind
It's not my kind
It's not my time to wonder why
Everything's gone white
And everything's gray
Now you're here now you're away
I don't want this
Remember that
I'll never forget where you're at
Don't let the days go by
Glycerine.......................Glycerine
I'm never alone
I'm alone all the time
Are you at one or do you lie?
We live in a wheel
Where everyone steals
But when we rise it's like strawberry fields
If I treated you bad
You bruised my face
Couldn't love you more
You got a beautiful taste
Don't let the days go by
Could have been easier on you
I couldn't change though I wanted to
Should have been easier by three
Our old friend fear and you and me
Glycerine.................Glycerine...............
Stout is the style of beer most traditionally associated with nitrogenated beers. It’s perfect for the cooler fall weather, full bodied but surprisingly modest in alcohol despite its dark appearance. Steamworks’ NITRO Stout pours a cascading jet black with a thick tan head and offers up a creamy, full bodied flavour of roasted barley as well as notes of coffee and chocolate.
