I HATE MYSELF AND I WANT TO DIE Trailer
Yeah. I'll post some photos of this night soon. Just a few words though. Beatroute flew in film director Benjamin Shapiro (Noisey.com) from Brooklyn to screen his film "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die" - a tribute to Nirvana on the 19th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's suicide. The film featured lost interviews / footage...it mostly brought back the memories growing up listening to Nirvana. I was still in my hometown of Nanaimo and I remember the release of "Nevermind". My friends and I would drive up to various school playgrounds near Hammond Bay, park the car, crank the stereo and mosh / go crazy on the monkey bars / swings / run around / howl in the night / do whatever. We were good youth group boys at the time but the fact that we were listening to Nirvana never deterred us from any hell bound judgement that may have been upon us.

Buddha is generally representing the final passage into nirvana, which is
the state of nothingness to which some sects of Buddhists aspire.
When this Buddha moved into my home our lives definitely changed for the better, I found my Nirvana. Hence this is something I treasure!
I had my cousin, Nirvana, model for me today to test out some lighting setups on the grey seamless and a new editing technique.
