this was partially inspired by two friends of mine. one, who is probably my only gal pal (whoa) hayley, and my weird Turkish-Spanish-English-identity issues friend, Dario. he's big on shoegaze, grunge, lofi type music and I'm sloooooowly getting into it. bottom photo was inspired by him, in all the videos he sends me, everyone's all filthy and being recorded with low quality so I figured that was appropriate. and my friend hayley got the top photo because she's just really into poetry and she did a whole photo series bases on suicide notes. so i took the most painful part of kurt cobains note and stuck it with this one. and as a plus, nirvana means a perfect state of happiness where there is neither suffering nor desire idk I gave being conceptual a go

According to legend*, this ramshackle building is the recording studio where Nirvana recorded "Bleach".

I'm not a fan of Nirvana, but started flipping through this in the library and it's compelling
