The small house located at 1000-1/2 E. Second Street, Aberdeen, WA, which Kurt Cobain rented on September 1st, 1986, and lived in until moving to Olympia, WA in May 1987 with Krist Novoselic.
This is a 2 ply handspun in the Yarn Love Nirvana color way. The base is 100% merino.
The weight varies from fingering to light worsted.

I went down to the beach last week with model Nirvana to take some beach fashion photos. This was taken down at the Edmonds waterfront near Seattle in the Puget Sound and that water she's laying in is bitterly cold. Even in the middle of summer you can catch hypothermia being in there too long. Nirvana was a trooper and is just amazing to work with. This is the first of many shots from the set.
There was a big challenge that I faced here. I didn't have an assistant, so holding a reflector, angling the reflector and shooting was quite the challenge, but I think I pulled it off pretty well. There was definitely a lesson learned about the importance of having an assistant for shoots like this!
