191/365: I felt so terrible during the weekend that on Monday I went straight to the doctor for a treatment that lasted all morning. After that, I went to my parents where I had a dosis of their love: feeding me with a yummy lunch and tucking me in for a healing nap that cures even the saddest soul.
When I woke up, the child in me was ready to say good bye to my once home and come back to what is now my own little piece of heaven: my darling's arms, a kitty on my feet and a crazy dog welcoming me home...

So its been 20 years since Kurt Cobain from Nirvana died. I can remember that day. Watching MTV.... My 14 year old self was probably wearing the regular "grunge era" outfit...jeans, flannel shirt, "chuckies" Converse shoes, and my backwards hat.....pretty much my style throughout high school and college as well....ha.. Nirvana was never my favorite band, but I did like their music back then and I have certainly grown to appreciate Cobain as a songwriter and the band as a whole as time has moved forward even more. Im pretty sure I drew the Nirvana "face" on top of my converse shoes back then....a cool band logo for sure. So anyway.....this light painting, light stencil, photo is a tribute and salute to Kurt and the change he brought to music and the artists he has inspired.

New arrival. I didn't want to preorder her from a dealer sight unseen because I was worried about her hairline, so I'm happy I was able to get her nude for a great price on ebay (and purchase her complete fashion separately) where I could see the doll I'm getting first. This one looks great.

Inició la explosión de lo que hasta ese momento era punk underground y rock alternativo, en un movimiento al que los medios de la época se referirían como "grunge", un género dominante en la radio y la televisión musical durante la primera mitad de la década de los 90. Algunos de sus álbumes más conocidos son "In Utero", "Nevermind" y el "MTV Unplugged". Con el suicidio de su líder, la banda se disuelve en 1994.
