As it turns out, it is REALLY HARD to take pictures of Sakura under the influence of catnip. This is her finally giving it a rest.
Leah (veronicamint) sent Sakura this absolutely darling little cat toy she made, filled with catnip, for Valentine's Day.
We have video evidence that it is her current favorite toy.
Kaskasavagges vackra U-formade dal, mellan Kuopertjåkko (vä) och Nipals (hö). På sommaren domineras dalen av blockhav.
Glacial erosion shaped Kaskasavagge, another E-W passage through the Kebnekaise mountains. Its eastern end is a steep ravine down to Vistasvagge.
At last, the sun has come out. Hann, like most of us, much prefers a sunny day, and gets quite moody when he can't go outside. He's out early in case it goes away!
A quick nip over to the S&C for Saturday's 10.18 Kirkby Thore - Carlisle Yard empty gypsum wagons and Dave and I opted for Armathwaite as it was the only location where the sun, should it be out, would be in a reasonably favourable position.
We knew that there was a red 'un on it or we wouldn't have given the train any consideration.
I wanted to include the both the gradient marker and the volunteer prepared floral displays so opted for the northern end of the platform.
Dave and his pole can just be made out at the opposite end.
Smoking is obviously a good thing. Whilst my host for the day (*) nipped into the RF Terminal to grab a grockle-paper, I finished off a smoke (after lunch at the Platform Tavern - slightly slow service, but worth the wait and highly recommended.), and this just happened to fall in front of the Fuji. Not many 'Cubs' about - this is only the third I've captured.
GS - No tweaking - just resized 4:3 to 3:2. Happy the man with the face that smiles! And I know that this is hours later than planned, but the planned evening didn't go to plan... in a good way, and the plan that I had in the back of my mind planned out perfectly. :)

During our last trip, Mt. Fuji suddenly decides to show up just when we were leaving the area. We were looking through the windows in our car and wondered what was that white thing showing in the clouds. When we finally realized it, we immediately stopped at the nearest conbini and shot it from there.
Melts in your mouth and in your hand too! hehe
for strobist: lit with 430ex bounced off a white ceiling. =)
Just nipped out for the recent started steel service, using the Yard at Burton Wetmore that the intermodal used until recently. Steel being imported via Cardiff Tidal, a good long rake of Cargowagons - might photograph this again!
Is that a Nip Slip?... I didn't notice when I was taking the picture, but later when going over them... I guess it is.
Not sure who she was, but that red corset made her boobs look like they were going to pop out... and I guess they kind of did. I definitely got more than I bargained for when I asked her and her husband to pose for a picture.

Rusty -Recovery Day 6. I bought him a harness, so he was able to go for a walk w/Emory and I was surprised at how well he did.
Mo & Jo got new accommodations today and they are happy little mice. They truly don't seem to mind the cats peering in at them. Oh---I found out that they're both females.
