I'm doing a great job of falling behind in my photo-tracking, but I'm hoping that this weekend's shenanigans on Seymour with James and Michael will get the count back up to where it should be.

What has happened this week that I should try and keep track of...

The fine folks at Giant Bicycles have worked furiously on the pump track that they started and it is now ride-able. And awesome. I think it's going to take some convincing to finish the one that Bryce and I had started now...

Papa Jackson has been in town since Tuesday night, and we have feasted like kings at the Hotel Van. Last night was ultra-magnetic with both the classic Rice Pudding and the special guest Fruit Flan for desert.

Today Victor Q. Kang was so kind as to swap out the 1st Generation Spear 25 that I'd been testing for him with the 2nd Gen. ProtoPack so that I can test it's durability while prancing around the Japanese country side.

And Sig the Kind hooked me up with a new Beta SL in black (my first black GoreTex jacket... Ever, believe it or not) to durability test as well, which solved my dilema regarding which jacket(s) to clean/wash for Japan.

It's funny that after ~15 years of Gore-Tex jackets this is the first black one I've ever owned. I'm pretty pumped on it, as it is sure to increase my Ninja level before Japan (which, in case you couldn't tell, i'm SUPER pumped about). And although my rad new neon green sunglasses might lower my Ninja level a little bit, they certainly increase my steeze level by a factor of ten at least.

this morning was socked in until about 10, and then the fog slowly began to burn off. the structures below are the judges' scaffolding, and broadcast center for the webcast, at the Lower Trestles NSSA nationals. Nike, now interested in surfing, has elaborately decked out this grom circus. this morning i ate a waffle with a nike logo in it while standing next to a display case with 2008 "surf inspired" nike airs while watching kolohe andino hit a waist-high, fun right all the way down lowers. 'twas bizarre.
