Some time ago there was an art show inviting several artists to customize a G2 Mutant vinyl toy, the fabulous mascot of Nike 6.0 I wasn't invited to the be part of the show but recently my friend Jamal, who actually was in charge to 3D model this guy at Nemo Design asked me to customize his own copy of the very limited edition (6 pieces). And this is the result, he just said – I like Dia de los Muertos stuff– So, I did something expressing a bit that.

This shot wasn't something I was planning on. After I shot the sequence of Lahsaan, Chad got a clip as well. I quickly moved a couple flashes around and tried getting a somewhat unique angle and he pulled it first try.

Strobes: Quantum T2 to the left and right on 1/4 power and maybe an Sb-600 thrown in there somwhere.
Luke always surfs Huntington well. Lack of waves hurt him in the semi's after he put together a great score on his first wave of the heat.
Getting a little silly while paddling in after his win in the final. He was greeted on the beach by a large contingent of family and friends.
Coco Ho surfed her way to victory at the Supergirl Pro Jr Challenge with Malia Manuel finishing not far behind her, Lakey Peterson rounded off the top three.
