We so could be mother daughter/Aunt and Niece or whatever you feel we are.
But basically we are just such good friends the age gap doesn't mean anything for we are both forever young at heart.
Last night we had a good old natter mainly about both our little travels during September /October what with the hen do and wedding i attended and Janet's family visit. we also touched on the ethics of raising a trans child something we differing opinions on. Janet being way more supportive than i am on that subject.
Its good to discuss things like that though for opinions can change when presented with a different viewpoint.
I still feel a lot of trans children are moved in the wrong direction through kindness for I believe puberty is a great leveller of ones mental and emotional state with regards gender and sexuality. Just my view not right not wrong just my own experience really.
Anyway enough of the deep stuff,

This shot is taken with iPhone15Pro in RAW DNG(48MP) on a Graflex Speedgraphics with Kodak Aeroektar 178mm f2.5 with a specially designed ground glass with Obscura Flex adapter.
A picture I did of myself and my niece on Second LIfe. My wonderful niece Teuila Takara who is slowly teaching me to do art similar to her. I am so happy to call her family.

Had the pleasure of attending my Niece's wedding this week to Jamie. I was there as a guest but obviously had to try my hand at a few shots, I aint no portrait kind of photographer but got 50 decent shots for her, just mingled around, she had hired a wedding photographer anyway but was good to get some no pressure practice in
I have many nieces and nephews... and I really like to give them all a little gift or something at Christmas. They're aged between 1 and 20... so I often have to do a lot of thinking ;).
This one goes to Liina who just had her 15th birthday!
back to my niece kaylin, who was dressed up in the weirdest comination of things, dancing around singing to herself:
"no one lives where i live...
i need to find my prince, but i can't have babies.
i'm just a little girl - so i can't cook!
there's no one here...where is my prince?"
at just nearly 4 years old, it seems a bit strange to already have her sounding so forlorn!

Niecal Trepidation (Screamatis Maximus)
A disease affecting Nieces that choose to ride rollercoasters but soon begin to question their decision.
Early symptoms include fidgeting, nail biting, stiff posture, and phrases such as “Ummm, I don’t know about this”. Severe Niecal Trepidation has set in when the patient begins to frantically pull at the lap bar while screaming “Let me off, let me off, let me offffffff!”
Treatment: While there is no known cure for Niecal Trepidation, repeated exposure to the cause of the irritant will eventually lessen the symptoms. It should be noted that while the patient is being treated, all those within 10 feet should wear ear plugs to avoid hearing loss.
