This section of the lake reflected a faded jade colour today. There were very dark storm clouds overhead covering much of the sky. It rained too, but the temps were such that the raindrops were partially frozen and covered everything with a layer of ice.

A nice pair, we find former Detroit & Mackinac RS2 466 now under the employ of the Tuscola & Saginaw Bay shoves former Ann Arbor Russell plow 4502 toward Chesaning, Michigan. This former NYC line north of Owosso had numerous deep drifts amid farm fields - during a very snow filled winter - January 27, 1985.

This is from my latest trip with my wife. The guy driving the boat had just got one fish. three kids on the pier next to us got 3 in a short time :) It was a beautiful evening with warm weather, swans swimming by and kids fishing. Topping it all of with a nice sunset and watching it with my wife :) From Hvaler islands, Norway.
