This is the real trick up this model's sleeve - a very carefully thought out saucer separation. As you can see the plane of separation has all the detail on it you'd want (plus a few pegs to help stabilize it). If I do build this physically, I want the stand to be able to display each part of the ship individually - that's good, as it will mean the stand will have to be strong enough to support the heavy saucer!
