Free concert at the Legislature grounds in Victoria. Haven't seen this many people since the big protest of 2002. These folks were busy watching Feist perform (she took forever, started an hour late... so lame).
There were a lot of people with their cellphones trying to share the concert with friends who didn't come down to take part of the BC day festivities.

maar even serieus,
ik ben twee jaar bezig geweest om mijn schilderstijl te veranderen,
vond dat ik niet kon vertellen wat ik wilde in mijn schilderijen,
heb vanalles geprobeerd, heb de outlines die al 10 jaar een hoofdelement van mijn schilderijeen zijn, compleet laten vallen.
de expo in de vips zal goed de evolutie in schilderstijl van ottograph(de naam is ondertussen veranderd in ottograph3000 'om aan te geven dat ik klaar ben voor de toekomst') te zien.
was ottograph vroeger altijd fel tegen het samplen van bestaande beelden in zijn eigen werk,
heeft hij ook deze stijlregel laten varen, en sampled er lustig op los.
'een beperking van mijn 'oude' stijl was dat ik er niet dieper mee in kon gaan op de dingen die mij echt interreseren zoals kunst,geschiedenis en actualiteiten, films, tekenfilms, azie, reclame, kunst, en nog een keer kunst, om een paar dingen te noemen.
ik vind dat mijn kunst veel persoonlijker is geworden, en dat is een zeer aangename verrassing.
op de opening zal een gedeelte van de gallerie als nachtclub worden ingericht,
aangezien ik al jaren mijn kunst ook laat zien in verschillende nachtclubs, waar ik mijn geanimeerde schilderen laat zien, als vj.
de avond word knallend afgesloten ,met een afterparty in off corso, op de absolutely stereo avond.
met als speciale uitsmijter:
een spetterende actionpaintsessie van de KMDG(kwasten met de gasten).

Newsflash: the Land of the Free has put a record number of humans behind bars last year: the US prison population has grown almost 3% in one year and is now 2.245.000 inmates, not counting inmates in American prisons in other countries like Cuba...
The US has more prisoners than any other country in the world.
I wonder why...?
Are American humans more criminal? Are the laws more strict?
Could be that the US now has more humans than dogs behind bars!
