This is such a lame interpretation of this song, but it's meaningful to me.
I started my last semester of student teaching today. All the work I've put in, all the wondering about my abilities as a teacher, all the questioning of my career change at the age of 23 is finally settling. I had to buy clothes to make myself look teachery, I've done all this preparation, all without knowing for sure whether I was actually good at it or not. Sure, I've had other teaching experiences, and I was confident going into class today, but it's really the first time I really believed I am going to be good at this. I'm going to accomplish my goals, and I'm going to be happy with my career. Everything is settling down, finally.
Of course, it's just one day. I'm sure there will be days where I hate being a teacher, but I really feel right about it today.
So this is me, on the day where I felt really good about being a teacher. Here goes nothin'!

A short tale about two weavers who promise an Emperor a new suit of clothes that is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent. I wanted to show you some of my new clothes but my camera snapped before I was ready with dressing ;)
Friday was my last day at my position at work. The next three month I have to go to an academy of administration beside of the vocational school. So that means, no work but a lot to study and learn. I'm looking forward to it because I will have all my class mates around me all the time :)
Also we had some beautiful late summer days and I spent some time at the lake. Sadly the weather turns into fall now. Maybe I should move to Califiornia, haha...
When I look at my picture I realise that I need a haircut. It's amazing how fast my hair is growing...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY :D :D
I am now, officially FIFTEEN! Do i look older than yesterday?
I had a million different ideas of what i could do for todays photo, But this was the first picture i took, intended to be light test, and i liked it : ) Enjoy!
The sewing bug is on me, so I made Blue some new clothes. I think he was glad to be out of that Christmas sweater.
Wee Nip (it has become his name) is modeling his new outfit. Pants that fit, a tiny vest and a knitted hat (which is actually the tip of a glove thumb, cut and gently glued to prevent raveling). He seems quite happy now.

Got my sammydress swag in the mail today! :)
Sammydress is the best online clothes store if you are petite. It is in China, I believe... I could be wrong on that though... Anyways, the only downfall is it takes like a month for your stuff to come in, but it's super cheap, and tons of really cool clothes that you would never see in the US!
So here's my take on a model shot.. maybe a little too sad looking? Haha... I promise, I actually am happy! Love my new clothes! :)
