It's a cliché to say that you hate moving, but it's a common sentiment for most people. I haven't had to move for ten years and when I recently found out that E and I had to vacate our present apartment, of course I wasn't jumping for joy. On the other hand, we had the chance to find a larger place that was more of our own.
It's also ironic that this is happening around our 1st anniversary-what better anniversary present than a new apartment. That's how we looked at it after hearing the news. Had to make some sweet lemonade out of some pretty sour lemons, that's for sure...

Young people from Challenge for Youth, Newstart and NI Alternatives celebrating gaining a range of qualifications through Youth Works at an event in the Black Box, Belfast.
The Youth Works Programme, funded by the International Fund for Ireland and managed by the Youth Council for Northern Ireland (YCNI) on behalf of the Department of Education (DENI), is a 26-week programme aimed at encouraging 16 and 17 year olds to re–engage with formal education and training.
The programme was piloted in north Belfast in 2011 and extended to young people living in the south, east and west of the city and who left school with no qualifications.
It is delivered by Include Youth in partnership with Newstart Education Centre, Northern Ireland Alternatives and Challenge for Youth.
If you are aged 16 or 17, live in south, east or west Belfast and would like to be a participant on the next Youth Works Programme in Belfast please contact Nicci Smith, Training Coordinator at Include Youth on 028 9031 1007 or nicci@includeyouth.org.

After rent, a Newstart recipient will on average have only $17 a day to spend on everything: food, groceries, transport, utility bills, personal care, you name it.
