Loaded Longboards
I wrote about longboarding a bit when I photographed Grant at UW a few weeks ago. I have loved long boarding since I made my first one my freshman year of HS. I've made at least 4 boards, owned 4 sector nines, 1 landyachtz, and now 2 loaded dervishes. (one was stolen) I've rode a very large assortment of longboards and I cannot speak higher of a product than Loaded.
I have never met the guys from Loaded but have been a huge fan of their boards for like 3 years. When Skylar showed me his Dervish and the Whirling Dervish video on youtube I instantly got a man crush on Adam Colton & Adam Stokowski. These guys are the Loaded and Orangatang "spokespersons" and some of the best longboarders on the planet. (they shred) . What makes me laugh is how people have told me that even though they dont know me, because of this blog feel like they do know me, or know whats going on in my life. That's how I feel about these guys. I just wanted to promote their stuff and say I love what they are doing! Not only that but the art of filming and editing longboarding would not be what it is without Adam Colton! Such a huge inspiration!
Here is their youtube channel. PS they are kinda of famous!

Okay this is my video submission for the "Hi I'm..." group. Enjoy, its me in my house playing drums in a shirt that is purple but looks blue. I'm using KP2 Vic Firth sticks for anyone truly interested. And please don't be horrified my awful monotone voice through most of it. But yeah enjoy, this went a lot better than my previous concepts.
Anyway, Hi, I'm Sean Gibson. And please leave a comment
The Never Summer range seen from the Mt. Ida trail. Trail Ridge Road skirts the base of the range as it descends from right to left toward Granby, CO.

Fairview Curve, at an elevation of 10,120-feet along Trail Ridge, presents a grandstand view of the Never Summer Mountains and the meandering course of the infant Colorado River in the Kawuneeche Valley. Both sides of the Kawuneeche Valley, which was shaped by great glaciers, is filled with forests of mature lodgepole pines. The Colorado River originates five miles north of this site at La Poudre Pass and flows 1,400 miles through five states before emptying into the Gulf of California.
