I loved doing this commission! Sally-Anne's daughter is going up to read biochemistry this year and wanted something appropriate to give her. I hit upon the idea of creating a three- dimensional impression of neural synapses.
After researching the structure of the brain and the texture of its physical form, I then became interested in the internal workings of the organ. More specifically, the neurone network within it. Nuerone connections are responsible for memory, and by making studies of this network, I could explore memory loss in a different way.

Ils mettent en scène des chercheurs dont les travaux sérieux sont
joyeusement déréglés par le groupe n+1 dans un aller-
retour de questions réponses… Les Impromptus scientifiques tentent de faire tenir ensemble un propos scientifique et une approche poétique.

Neurotransmitter, wie serotoninerge Neuronen, die ihren Ursprung in den Raphe-Kernen haben, sind in der Lage, eine groÃe Anzahl von Teilen des Gehirns (siehe auch Limbisches System) zu kontrollieren, die für die ME-Symptomatik von Bedeutung ist.

Der Parasympathikus ist im Allgemeinen für Erhaltung und Wiederherstellung zuständig; Verlangsamung des Pulses, Senkung des Blutdrucks, Stimulation des Darmtrakts, etc)
- Motoneuron Dysfunktion (Muskelschwund, Lähmung, Erschöpfung, Muskel- und Gelenkschmerzen, Muskelschwäche, etc.)
