El arte de las neuronas
En 1906, Santiago Ramón y Cajal recibió el Premio Nobel de Medicina.
Él habÃa querido ser artista pintor.
Su padre no lo dejó, y no tuvo más remedio que convertirse en el cientÃfico español más importante de todos los tiempos.
Se vengó dibujando lo que descubrÃa. Sus paisajes del cerebro competÃan con Miró, con Klee:
—El jardÃn de la neurologÃa brinda emociones artÃsticas
incomparables —solÃa decir.
El disfrutaba explorando los misterios del sistema nervioso, pero más disfrutaba dibujándolos.
Y todavÃa más, más todavÃa, disfrutaba diciendo a viva voz lo que pensaba, a sabiendas de que eso iba a darle más enemigos que amigos.
A veces preguntaba, sorprendido:
—¿No tienes enemigos? ¿Cómo que no? ¿Es que jamás dijiste la verdad, ni jamás amaste la justicia?

Honeysuckle is a sweet Neuron but she couldn’t spell her name to save her sweet piggy tail! Honeysuckle enjoys smelling bad things for you. The hat comes off for summer time but the tail is forever. She is very proud of it and loves to tell you about all the things she has gotten it stuck in. She is a manifestation of my own rebellious neurons that have caused a movement disorder.
