Rawa Pening (literally meaning 'Clear Swamp', from the Javanese Bening) is a lake in the Ambarawa Basin in Central Java, Indonesia. It serves as a source of power, irrigation, and flood control, and is used for fishing.
Today was such a beautiful day so being home I decided to do some spring cleaning and check out the garden, which I hadn't seen in a while!
I took some photos of new shoots, new buds etc...but this one was the one I chose to post, simply because I wanted to post something different!
I hope you like it!
Have a great day/night, my dear flickr friends!
With love
Nat :)

I'm happy to present the 5th and final doll in the Insectopia Collection: the Praying Mantis. A predator that lures you in with her innocent looks.
The doll is a Nu.Face Erin completely repainted with artist acrylics and pastels sealed with UV coating. Her hair has been styled into two beaded buns wrapped in copper netting and her body blushed.
Her outfit consists of a gown of unique hand painted silk embellished with sequins and beads, a violet silk hose, a pair of thorny armadillo shoes painted gradient with metallic grades of green and pink, and she is crowned with a hand sculpted and painted hairpiece in the shape of mantis claws.
Tubular netting bracelet with Swarovki pearls. The whole design with big bead in the middle is 'Web of Silver' by Marla Gulotta, published in Bead & Button magazine.

Out with Pauls Pix 53 on Tuesday for a wander around the town of Battle, with the challenge of photographing abstracts.
I found it a tricky challenge, but did enjoy looking.
This was just some netting over a water butt, in the allotments.

Delete me group :- Ok here we go again , twice i've gone a bit on the controversial side - and survived - then a flower macro that was a happy fave of mine but just plummetted to its doom! . So here's a bit of still lifey, texturey, landscapey stuff . A few freindly comments so far , Sooo I thought i'd throw into the pit of judgement. ! Fire Away! -
Pink Netting Macro - A very close view of the pink tutu photo prop we had fun with out at Lake Bartlett on our 2nd Annual Wild West photo walk and meetup in February this year. Taken with my iPhone, if the light is right one can get macro focus.
The #MacroMondays theme for next Monday, 5/26, is #imperfect and given the age of our house they should be easy to find! This is limescale build up - hard water causes this I’m told
Last image of the new tunnel for a while, got the door section fitted and started preparing thev inside. Still got the netting to go over the top, waiting for a day when my son is there at the same time (we have two plots side by side and share the space), it will be a lot easier fixing the very light net in place with two of us, especially if it is a bit breezy, often is on the allotments.
The other day I went to the local camera store and traded my 50mm 1.8 for the 50mm 1.4. I love how much more "solid" the 1.4 feels. So far its been great. This is an image from the first day of having it. This is the netting from a driving range. Gotta love that dof.

I wanted to play with different textures and materials with the monochromatic black outfit combining soft wool and shiny leather.
The OOAK fashion consists of rouched leatherette shorts, thigh high snake leatherette boots with lacing, a tailored double collar wool coat with tulle ruffle detailing, and a Philip Treacy meets HR Giger's alien hardened netting hat.
The outfit is modelled by and tailored to Sybarite Inque. The hard cap wig by Ilaria aka Time of Doll.
I spent a somewhat cold afternoon sitting behind camouflage netting hung in front of the open conservatory doors but this tiny wren entertained me very well.
My husband and I brought a large log full of nooks and crannies and holes all of which he finds Irresistible especially after I have tempted him with crushed dried mealworms.
Here are photographs showing how he loves this log.
