Tiny agates and shells and rocks and one itty bit of beach glass.

Huge driftwood on the beach at Netarts Bay. This creek flowing into the bay provided hours of entertainment.

Amazing patterns in the sand where the creek flows over the beach.

We left Cape Lookout at the right time I guess because we passed Netarts Bay at low tide, which made for some great wildlife watching. Great Blue Herons all over the place, with gulls and terns and small fleets of seals coming in for breakfast. A true "moment of nature" and a good thing to see on our last day at the coast.

Crabbing on Victoria Day long weekend in Netarts, on the Oregon Coast. We didn't get many big enough to eat, but it was a fun day in the sun.
