We decided to drive down the coast of Oregon to take some pics before we headed north to see our daughter. It really was a lovely morning, as you can see! Hope you enjoy! :)

I do love The Sea. I was born in Marseille. As a child i went all the time to the beach ; i knew how to swim before walking. My dad used to be a seaman. So the Sea is very important to me. In this composition, i used splatters and transparent PNG's.

Portrait exercise using painterly effects, textures and layers. Another look at Sybil...wide-eyed and somewhat disheveled. I think you might like her...
Loved exploring the streets of Barcelona, but you know me...I really love to get out and shoot nature, so this was a real treat for me, and I decided that this would be my first post on my return. I only have @ 300 more shots to go thru...lol
Taken on our trip to Montserrat and its remote Benedictine monastery which dates from 1025, although it was largely destroyed in the 1800's. Still it was a great day trip, too bad we were on a tour and didn't have more time to spend here.

Loved being there, but it is so good to be home...will do my best catching up with everyone soon.
If you look in the pink butterfly, you can see what remains of the peppermint bark source image, which is apparently quite tasty to butterflies:)

Pinnacles National Monument, located near the San Andreas Fault along the boundary of the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate, is an excellent example of tectonic plate movement. The Pinnacles Rocks are believed to be part of the Neenach Volcano that occurred 23 million years ago near present-day Lancaster, California, some 195 miles (314 km) southeast. The giant San Andreas Fault split the volcano and the Pacific Plate crept north, carrying the Pinnacles.
