CNN declares nerds to be the next big thing. A month ago, so did Peaches Geldof in NYLON.
If nerds are cool, then why am I at home sitting in front of my laptop, uninvited to parties, eating a bag of Lays, stalking communities in Livejournal, listening to Cut Copy, etc. etc.

All contributors are asked to build their own version of the BrickNerd mascot "Nerdly" as a sort of self-portrait.
I couldn't miss this opportunity to build an Erling brick version of Nerdly. The Erling/Headlight brick is an element that I often use and it is the perfect symbol for SNOT and nerdiness in my opinion. I also wear black glasses every day, so I really feel like this is me, built in LEGO.
There have been many great video games in the past four decades, but one of the games that I'm sure many of us AFOLs remember most fondly is the classic Lego Racers, so for this year's videogame-themed Nerdvember I decided to build BrickNerd's mascot Nerdly as the main antagonist of that game, Rocket Racer, along with his sleek race car. Just like Nerdly, it is at a 3:1 scale. Nerdly Racer's arms, legs, head, and visor are all posable and the wheels and steering wheel on his car turn just like on a real Lego car. Nerdly can be put inside the car, although his legs are a bit wide, so they need to be taken off to do so.
I gave in and purchased the storytelling/trivia/fortune telling Yoda. What a nerd! heh. He's cool, but don't play with one if you don't want him to tell you exactly what happens in Revenge Of The Sith!
I have something in me which many people dont know about... a nerd. I dont look like a nerd nor am like one socially but its in me. I learnt to accept it a few years ago and stop running from it lol
If you have a nerd in you, embrace it!

Meet Nerdly Kitty, straight from the Cloud. Or is it Uni-Nerdly? Anyway, I've created her for Nerdvember 2014. Isn't she cute? And now I'm putting back on my own glasses again. Gotten square eyes of viewing The Nerdly Movie, but the fun was worth it.
tomorrow a new adventure for me, I have to teach 3d. So Elliott supports me with a nerdy outfit. ^_^

Everybody's favorite Nerdly as "Ralph" from the classic arcade game "Rampage", quite possible one of the best arcade games ever made (at least in my opinion.) Built for Nerdvember 2018.
After all of the trials and enemies, the party of Sir Bricklius had finally made it to the top of Mount Nerdness. Before them was the treasure they had all dreamed of: the Chalice of Nerdiness. It is said that when one takes a sip from this chalice, they obtain nerdiness infinitely larger than any other being in the world. However, there was one obstacle still in their way, and this one was the hardest yet…
