Challenge #36 Combining three former challenges. I almost didn't make the cut off this week as I've been preparing for school and I'm late getting this shot posted. The three challenges are complimentary colors, leading lines, and negative space.
The half-inch/1.27 cm red glitter ball hangs from a third hand. I just found the miniature ball in my MacroMondays box. Behind it stands a slide light table, with two studio lights angled behind the camera.
I'm sorry I've not commented much lately. I fell last week and landed on my head, the landing zone for most of my falls. After two concussions and a skull fracture in my teens, I decided to label this latest a heckova sore head and shoulder without the help of a physician.
Many thanks for looking.

Revisiting a pic I did a few years ago for this one. Last time I made a heart shaped filter but didn't have time to faff around with that today. My husband very kindly volunteered his services as the hand model...well, he agreed to do it...it's the same thing isn't it? ;)
Capturing contrasting pictures is definitively somthing I focus on when shooting. I love the focus on the subject that is supported by the negative space.

I have finally accepted that my style is simple and that it suits me fine. I admire people who can create elaborate compositions and style their scenes with precision. My goal is simple, use light to make everyday objects interesting. Some days I actually achieve my goals I do work at it daily. I'll be eating cherries until my stomach aches, have a great day!
I bought these little baubles recently. I loved the jewel like colours. I'm starting to feel a bit Christmasy. I've started to catch up with viewing and commenting, apologies if I haven't managed to get to your pics yet but hopefully it won't be too long!
The zoom in of what I just thought was the last of the wanning moon, then find out that actually the last time to see the moon in the Jewish calendar year of 5776 the next morning it was too faint for photo 9/30/16, then sun and moon rise together 10/1/16, then the faint moon 10/2/16 then new year 10/3/16 5777 before seen again.,

Drinking from your cup
I said, "Is this contagious?"
You said, "Just drink it up."
