This is a digital art that I made with a picture I took here in Diano Marina on the Ligurian coast. In the building there is an "Azienda sociosanitaria ligure 1" (Asl1), i.e. a public health facility where ambulances are also stationed. The cyclist comes from the socialist republic of Viet Nam and somehow fits the Asl1. The background of the cyclist was yellow in the original, which gave the negative space of the picture the color so that I could cleanly take over the spokes of the wheels.

Most tourists in the casino town of San Remo on the Italian Riviera of Flowers spend most of their time in the fashionable harbour area. But San Remo has a very picturesque historic town centre just above the harbour and away from the tourist crowds.

A minimalist study with pictorial elements from India. The seagull is intentionally oversized, as if it were much closer than the arcades.
This is my grandmother's brooch. It has those big, old fashioned, sparkly rhinestones that are full of color. Once the color was removed it was the curve of the metal that captured my attention.
Happy Macro Mondays!
♂︎ Zebra Jumping Spider (Salticus scenicus)
Itsy-Bitsy the Zebra Jumping Spider in a space of his own. I spied this little beauty on an outside windowsill to our garden.
Note the rather impressive fangs of the male of the species.
Thanks for looking!
The actual subject, here the Biedermeier house entrance, which I saw in the Ligurian town of Porto Maurizio, I like to place in an indeterminate negative space. The cyclist is also an encore.

in photoshop I did set contrast to the max to lose all details
"In case you haven't heard, Geese are VERY territorial .....and it's MY domain you've intruded on."
A close encounter that came within a hair's breadth of getting really ugly.
Best viewed LARGE.
It certainly looked that way! The challenge for this week is 'Negative space' and I had this idea and really like how it came out. Good girl for standing on the rock for a few photos :)
This was taken at a country park, near home. The land falls to the valley & river below, then rises to the land in the distance. I'm glad I took this as the weather was beautiful earlier in the week & I love that blue sky.
Nicht mehr viel übrig. Der Rest auf den Hüften.

Take a hearty bite – yes, that was delicious. What do you not do for a photo ;-) By the way, the chocolate is filled with roasted desiccated coconut (macaroons). And since every piece says "Sport", I'll probably have to do some tomorrow ...
/
And today I happily had time again to take a photo – and especially for this group ...

#HappyCrazyTuesday / #NegativeSpace
Happy Crazy Tuesday to all of you ;-)
The basement of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam is a confusing place. The dimensions between art and reality get blurred.
