Ran across this huge caterpillar on this morning's walk. It's as big around as my index finger and longer. I'm guessing a large moth. Can anyone ID.

There was a "show off your Lego space" event at Brickfest which I completely missed. I had the pictures and figured it would be wasteful to not use them. So here you go.
It is a 200 SF outbuilding that is separate from the house. On the other side of this wall about 40' away is the house.
The shop was about a year to repair, the floor was trashed, it needed electricity installed and the rats and ants needed eviction. It is all better now.
So this is the family I grew up with. We'd go drive long distances just to have a chance at racing other cars and/or reach the top speed of the car. Here we managed 215 km/h, roughly 135 mph... It was my uncle driving and he told me, "OK take the pic now" since he had to slow down for the speed cam haha.

I need to go over it with emery cloth to smooth out the file & sandpaper marks, then use a tiny x-acto chisel knife to clean out the notches, but it doesn't look NEARLY the bodge it looked like over the weekend.
With the temps in the 30's and a fair amount of wind I actually went for the hot chocolate. These food trucks are really rising in popularity here in Dallas, and are already quite popular in Austin.
Volunteers Needed! These photos show the trash currently in this historic stream. We can certainly use your help! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Reclaim the Bay! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!

I noticed our little Nina , 15 months old, opening a an old parenting magazine that my mum brought around a few weeks back. I couldn't quite believe what I saw so I snatched it out of Nina's hands (forgetting the risk of bilateral paper cuts!) and marvelled at the horror within. A shoe company had commissioned one of my fave artists, Camille Rose Garcia to do an ad for them.

Check out the chainsawing little sister as she sets out to get psycho on her little brother. Classic. Hardly fit for the average new parent though...unless they are Camille Rose Garcia admirers like me of course!

It might look like an active Shell gas station but its really a period piece out of the 1960s in Sigel, Illinois.
I wrote this poem in May and I think it fits the feel of the day. We ran the tracks trying not to attract attention of would be tattlers. A car passed us as we climbed down and said, "Oh it's you and Freddy. At first I saw you and told my husband 'Look at those kids and their shenanigans' and now I see it is the sisters." I held up my camera to assure her, "It's art."
