Taking a walk along the canal at Lancaster, the ice was thickening up again despite the sun. It was clear that one barge had managed to get away though, leaving an ice-breaking trail along the canal.

Well, what did I tell you? - This guy needed a good cool down, for this very hot and scorching heart, that we were getting here!
I felt the same as he did, in which I should have joined him too. Because I can't stand this heat wave we were getting them.
Still, it was nice to have some sunny days, this summer and made up for the long cold winter spell, we have had in the UK here!
Please say a prayer for our Little Bungee this day as we have decided to go ahead with another operation in an attempt to help him have a chance at a normal life.
As of this juncture, he is dizzy, can't walk straight and refuses food and water.
His surgery will attempt to remove a growth causing this unfortunate physical symptom interfering with his life.
He is still very young so perhaps he will be able to overcome this infirmary.
Thank you all in advance for your prayer and thoughts.

We need to encourage more bees in to our gardens! All it takes is to plant more bee loving flowers in our garden, like Cerinthe, which i am told by the bees is a favourite of theirs :)

Sunday promised to be a nice sunny day. I got to Daisy Nook for sunrise hoping to have a great day weather wise. It turned out to be miserable and cloudy! A nice sutter speed was needed for this Kingy shot, not to be though !
