Happy Thanksgiving! Remember to say thanks. In my family Wiccan tradition my grandparents incorporated Earth Astrology. The name the coven gave me was Little Fawn of the deer people. I have Native American on both sides my family.

The little bees were flying in a large swarm around the Isopogon sp flowers to collect pollen. Notice the pollen presenters are different colours. The yellow ones have pollen, the orange none! It helps the bees to choose where to get their food.
In one of the photos you can see 5 bees flying, 7 in another.
Most likely Isopogon crithmifolius

Native Masked Bee (Hylaeus Rhodohylaeus) male
I spotted a couple of these Native Bees in the garden today. The female just wouldn't sit long enough for a shot. It was a bit breezy so this one is not as sharp as I would have liked.

Natural designs,
inline with the earth.
Spiritually dressed,
in shapes and colors.
Earthly designs
like no others.
Show us what our
thoughts are worth.
Clothing designers,
use from the earth,
that which was
the earth mothers.
Every design ever seen,
was created on the ground
before fashion existed.
Natives sight saw,
long before,
the designs,
that of which our
mother wore.
Borrowed are our
thoughts of design,
from earth and time.

I'm not sure which I have but I know it's a native. The blooms start out white and then can go to a light blue or even purple color.
Natale sei tu
quando umile e cosciente ricevi nel silenzio della notte il Salvatore del mondo senza rumori ne grandi celebrazioni;

A photo of one of several portraits that are currently displayed at the visiter center, Bandolier National Monument. The National Monument protects over 33,000 acres of ruggedly beautiful canyon and mesa country. Petroglyphs, dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs, and standing masonry walls pay tribute to the early days of a culture that still survives in the surrounding communities.
My guess is that these photographs would be approximately 100+ years old. This is just speculation as my internet searches all came up empty.
