I have said previously that Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure don't do theming details as well as Disney. Case in point: Being able to see Hogwarts Castle peeking over the shoulder of the Jurassic Park Visitor's Center. However, they are still good at doing little details, like this banister-holder at Mythos Restaurant. Great food, as well, in a great atmosphere. I found lots of fun details inside the restaurant, as well as within the themed lands... well... the ones that were popular. It's almost as if Universal said "Okay, such and such parks get the most traffic, so actually work on making them pretty. Add cool little details that people will appreciate. Huh? What was that, from you in the back? 'What about the other areas?' Oh, we have those too, right. Well, uh, just throw some new paint on them. Nobody spends much time there, so they won't care. Harry Potter gives us far more foot traffic than Jurassic Park. Make it prettier. No, I don't care if making JP look and feel better might bring in people more overall. Just throw new paint on it; people will think that's enough."
Shame that. Still, when they want to, they can do details.
