DELPHIN was a dolphin in the service of the god Poseidon.
When his master was wooing Amphitrite and she fled, Delphin went in search of the nymph and persuaded her to agree to the marriage. For his service Poseidon placed him amongst the stars as the Constellation Delphinus.
Legend has it that the godess Athena threw her spear into the ground of Akropolis and out sprang the first olive tree or even the tree of life in Greek mythos. Todays tree is a later reminder and behind it the Erechteion/Erechtheum built 421 - 401 BC once containing several shrines, and later to become a Christian church. Is it possible anywhere to come closer to absolute mythos than here?

Back after my summer break.
This week will be featuring 90s Rock
...last week, after Lisa and I picked up her new camera, we decided on gyros for dinner, and stopped at the Greek Bistro...gyros, Greek salad, Greek fries, and of course, Greek liquid refreshment.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. SOOPC (Straight out of Phone Camera...lololol)...the background is a mural on one of the walls.

...our A/C was fixed on Tuesday, and none too soon...its been a scorcher. No grading papers for me tonight...I'm going to Flickr for a bit...hahahahah. "The force will be with you, always."
This has been a passion project for me for a long time. I've always wanted to make a minifig version of the Mythos statue from Sideshow Collectables. Obi-Wan is by far my favorite character from the Star Wars universe and this is my favorite version of the character. After seeing TheCampervanTom's version, I was discouraged to make my own. But hey, after some time, I was finally able to make and finish him.
This has to be my most in-depth figure to date. There are so many elements to the figure as a whole. The tunic was made out of cloth and the robe was made from a lego cape I modified.
The backpack is made from a standard lego backpack in which I cut off the top part and glued it onto the bottom. The moisture farm part is made from a piece of lego flex tube and a random part from a 3.75 inch figure with some sculpting. The clone armor is made from a soda can which I cut and shaped to what I wanted. Throughout the fig I had multiple sculpted elements, such as the beard and part of the hair, and I dry sculpted the parts on the belt and the goggles. The lightsaber is Aaron's ROTJ Luke design which I painted to match Obi's saber. I also used string and fabric in various places too.
Hope you guys like it as much as I do. I'm really proud of how this figure turned out. Shoutout to Sander for editing the picture for me. You are a god.
Anyways thanks guys for the support! I might make the "Old Wounds" version of Darth Maul next! See you next time!

Das Wort Paradies stammt von dem alt-persischen Wort „pairidaeza“ ab und bedeutet „ummauerter Raum“. Darum liegen die Riyâd genannten Gartenhöfe des Orients traditionell hinter Mauerwerk versteckt, woraus sich auch der Mythos des Gartens als verborgener Oase speist. In accordance with this Islamic construction tradition, the Oriental-Islamic Garden of the Gärten der Welt is also secreted behind a four-metre-high wall, separating it from the outside world.
