obsession #228. rope. from toilet paper and a power drill. you could dangle a car off the verrazano with this stuff. last night someone taught him how to finger knit at a christmas party and we walked out with not only an empty casserole dish but 6 ft of homemade twine.
To find a truth I made a simple test. I had hypo and Amm. Thio and I want to understand are there any difference in picture using those fixers.
So I made an exposure then develop and then cut a glass in two parts.
One part I fixed in Hypo and another in Amm. Thio... try to find 10 difference in them :)))
*For sure I scan two pieces by one pass by putting them together on scanner glass.
Fixing time (until all whites is gone):
Hypo: 2 minutes
Amm thio: 30-40 seconds
Collodion: "Same Day Extra Dry"
Potassium Iodide + Potassium Bromide

Mini Busts of Adam and Jamie from the TV show Mythbusters! Jamie wearing his usual black beret. Both models are based on what they usually wear, look like, etc. Mythbusters is definitely my favorite show, so a great influence for building the figures came from my own interest.
Thanks for viewing! :)

First of all: Do not try this at home! All stunts were supervised by a professional stunt coordinator. No Danbos were harmed during the shot of this photo!
Today the Danbos were inspired by a video they saw on YouTube. There some guys put mentos into Coke bottles and shortly after the bottles busted. So the Danbos thought they could use that another way. They built a little starting ramp. Mini fastened his... well... seatbelts and Danbo opened the bottle and dropped in one of the mentos. Just a blink of an eye later Mini was shot into the air. We really had to walk an impressive far way to get back to him and check if everything was okay. All went fine and now Mini can say he was already flying!
This is a picture of Kari Byron from the Discovery show Mythbusters, that I got off the internet (if this contravenes any rules, I'll take it off sharpish).
