Saturday I woke up to my favorite thing in the world right now - Mythbusters and coffee with my wife and the knowledge that I can catch up on all the news and blogs that interest me. One thing that was interesting is the Canon announcement about the C300, a new digital video camera aimed at the pro market. Of course I want one, but I'll find it a little challenging to justify a 75,000 dollar investment :)
In the afternoon Adriana went out for a major haircut and I spent the day finally putting together my video of Paris from our trip last month. I guess that was me subliminally laying the groundwork to call myself a pro videographer! Believe me though I've got a long way to go.....
Anyway in the afternoon we went for a date, Adriana made a reservation at this cool place called Bar Boulud in Knightsbridge. I had a burger called "The Piggie" that's a beef burger with pulled pork on top. Holy crap, delicious.

Adam Savage was basically speechless when they came on stage. The crowd of about 2000 (max capacity) was extremely enthusiastic. Standing ovation!
He and Jamie then realized they were supposed to sit at the standard interview table, the moderator behind a podium. This was all too formal for them, and Adam and Jamie proceeded to re-arrange the furniture so they could casually sit on the folding table and see the audience better. It was great!

If my good internet sense hadn't prevented me, I would've typed the title of this picture in all caps -- that's how excited I was when I saw Adam Savage from the show Mythbusters! I only saw Adam, pictured here with his kids... but apparently, not long after I took these photos, more of the Mythbusters crew came out and played a game of Segway polo.

So we just got done meeting Adam and Jamie. Unfortunately we were not able to get a photo with them, or any autographs. :(
