Coyote Buttes and The Wave, near Paria Canyon, Arizona

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Utah / Arizona

Can I just say how cool this turned out? Was totally a spur of the moment accident kind of thing--I had a couple minutes outside with my camera until Angela came home to pick me up. Stood on a manhole in the back yard and was looking around.. and then all of a sudden looked down and noticed how I was perfectly positioned for the low sun to cast a loooong shadow. Angela pulled up right as I took the shot.

…the camera while capturing my own shadow. Fairly normal camera position. Was trying to get my shadow higher up on the skip, but the sun wasn't cooperating.

Natural Bridges is a unique natural attraction featuring a collapsed lava tube that has left behind two natural bridges and several small cave openings. Over 12,000 years ago lave flowed in this area and carved out a tunnel much like many of the other caves in this area, however, this particular tunnel collapsed and left behind two “bridges”.

It has been over two months that I've uploaded anything on my photostream, It felt like I was berried under my own shadow. Yes I was slack and lazy in uploading my work but I've made progress in social areas of photography. Caught-up with some wonderful people from flickr and made new friends :)

...just so you know (I am back)
