I took a long walk out this causeway leading to what I discovered later was Mutton Island. You can see there's a lighthouse there. I discovered a gate at the end that didn't allow entrance. I understand the lighthouse is being restored. At least it was a nice walk!

A closer look at the soup. There were quail eggs added which I thought was a rather interesting combo to go along with mutton.
The red oval-shaped berries are wolfberries, traditionally used in savoury soups - they are rich in Vitamin A and is now one of the "Super Food".

For the past two weeks, have been treating myself with a plate of swollen gum, flu, fever, cough, etc....:(
On the way to seek medical treatment at nearby clinic, couldn't resist myself from having a plate of this(at Bombay Masala cafe).
Guess my appetite is still at it's best...:)
they put kids in pads and strap them to the backs of tortured sheep. it is called "mutton bustin'" presumably the sheep are later eaten. the kids probably learn a valuable lesson in respecting all forms of life as tools and toys.
