After taking a ton of pictures at the Mutton & Mead Medieval Festival in Montague, MA Yesterday I was stumped as to what to post, so I decided people are what these fairs are all about, so I am posting characters viewed at the faire.

But the prodigious quantity of "old" enamel advertising signs, with just the right nicks and scratches and a little rust around th corner mounting holes is the giveaway. Could all of India's old signs be in one little shop?

For the weekly Scavenger Hunt at TWTME: Food that's a speciality where you come from
True summer's meal! Cured mutton ham, scrambled eggs and flat bread. You can also serve it with a potato salad. Great picnic food! My father makes the mutton ham himself, and it's the best you can get - "the Parma ham of the mutton" :-)
To make this soup, my mum bought the mutton from the butcher in the market and then asked the makcik in the spice stall for the rempah (spice mix).
