A digital media entry to Library Hack, by Oral historian and film maker John Mannion (Pekina SA)

John selected an image from the State Library of SA's archive collection on Library Hack, and combined it with an oral history recording of a story about Rabbits and Camp Pie, from Gladys Bond in Quorn SA. Gladys is over 100 and the interview was made in 2009.

This project was made as part of Digital Salon's response to Library Hack.

Keema Bhindi is a tasteful mutton based dish made along with okra or bhindi and rich spices. It is quite a popular preparation in most Mathur house holds and I too have grown up eating this dish. Made it after a long time and the taste took me back to my childhood when dad would perpare Bhindi Keema and the hot, just out of the naked flame Puffed Phulkas laden with ghee were endlessly devored along with it. This was my first trip to the Sherwood Forest Faire, SE of Austin, TX. It's much smaller than the Texas Renaissance Festival but it had a nice feel to it. I went there for 2 days in March 2013. I'll definitely be going back to it next year! People watching was pretty good and the cast members and performers were a blast to watch.
