the hairless mouse is known for its machiavellian schemes and its lack of empathy towards others.. it is nothing for one of these beasts to murder its whole family before going out and doing a spot of gardening.
Yuck, this thing was in my basement and it was pretty big. Bigger than a quarter with legs included, I took its picture with my zoom lens. It's still in my basement somewhere! I didn't realize it had pinchers until I put the picture on the computer. I hadn't gotten that close to it. DH wouldn't come downstairs to kill it. It was so big I couldn't do it. I don't know what kind of spider it is. I've never seen a spider with crab claws before.
So I have loved the NKE 6.0 Mutant since I first saw it (kaijulab.blogspot.com/2012/03/nike-60-toys.html) so I brok down and made my own... Mini-figure style!
I arrived home from air and I was rather frustrated and had just heard some bad news from someone who doesn't need anymore bad news and well...
So I decided to eat the last of the cherries. There were maybe 15 or so left in the bag. All three of these were among those 15... that's 20% mutant.
Yep, one more reminder that the world is a fucked up place. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, and sometimes just very, very strange.

Leave it to me to find the mutant! Claytonia virginica is supposed to have five petals, but this one obviously did not get the memo. Maybe it was just so happy spring has finally come that it went a little overboard. :)
this particular bush had a lot of daisies that looked like this, I was overly excited such a bush find it but decided to only snag one.
I think this started out as two dandelions that twinned. The stem is very broad and flat, and the bloom looks like two flower blended. It also seems to have grown horizontally. I wish that I could have conveyed the full weirdness of this flower with my photo.
