Ostriches are territorial. I don't know how aggressive Mutant, the female, would be, but I wouldn't take any chances!

I think this is a strange growth of Collybia sp, there where a lot of normal fruiting bodys around it. It is as seldom as hit on a lotto jackpot, to find such a fruiting body. My luck for unlikely things is used up with this. But who needs lotto millions, if you can have a mushroom photo?
Ich halte dies für eine seltsame Wuchsform von einem Sklerotienrübling, aber ausdrücklich nicht für einen Traubenstieligen Sklerotienrübling, bei dem Nebenfruchtformen am Stiel wachsen, denn er war von normalen Fruchtkörpern umgeben und die Schirmchen sind alle Hauptfruchtformen. Das ist wahrscheinlich so selten wie ein Sechser im Lotto. Mein Glück ist damit aufgebraucht, ich brauche nicht mehr Lotto spielen. Aber wer braucht schon Millionen, wenn er ein Pilzfoto haben kann?

Mutant Erythranthe lewisii, from Warren Creek just east of Yosemite. The wild-type, at least in the Yosemite area, has much paler pink and white in the throat. It's deeper red further north. Formerly known as Mimulus lewisii.
