Charles Byrn, a hardware merchant, built this Queen Anne style house in 1903.

Designed by Nashville, TN architect Thomas J. Moore, the house incorporated many modern conveniences, including five bathrooms, a game room, guymnasium, and both gas and electric lights.

These smell absolutely wonderful in the front yard.

The Comets tried out a few science experiments with such enthusiasm!

Vince took our recycling to the Weakley Lane recycling center. It was 51 pounds worth accumulated since early December. We recycle all cardboard, plastic, tin, and aluminum.

Based on previous trips, we calculated we keep about 60 bags of trash a year from going into the Middlepoint landfill in Rutherford County. We produce about a bag of trash every week that goes to the landfill. Imagine if every family did this.
