SENSORY-MINDS GmbH, in cooperation with "Montfort Werbung", has developed the "Multitouch Experience Cube" - an eye-catching interactive trade show event installation. The walkable LED cube for the GRASS GmbH showcase has been the highlight at the Interzum 2011 trade show in Cologne, the international leading fair for suppliers to the furniture industry.
23 LCD displays attached inside the "Multitouch Experience Cube" formed a estimated 14 meter long multitouch wall. Inside visitors experienced a interactive product show controlled via iPhone app and moderated by a host. For this a interconnected real-time 3D rendering visualization including 3D Sound has been programmed in collaboration with "Realtime Department". The application itself has been developed in Ventuz – a real-time 3D authoring software.
As a final touch a custom designed LED ceiling has been fitted inside the interactive installation. The 3D visualizations created especially for the LED ceiling reacted upon the visitors interactions with the multitouch LCD displays and intensified the unique spatial sensations inside the "Multitouch Experience Cube".
Developed by SENSORY-MINDS GmbH in cooperation with "Montfort Werbung", "Realtime Department" and "radarTOUCH".

Global warming and increased human activity in the far north are changing the Arctic in dramatic ways. A unique interactive mapping application combined with a multitouch table allows visitors to better visualize the changes that are occurring in the Arctic. Multiple users can interact simultaneously, changing the display of the map. Additionally, a magnifier feature allows visitors to see details on the map such as the location of Inuit communities.
The Arctic Choices software uses high-resolution custom map overlays that demonstrate everything from animal migration paths to the diminishing extent of winter ice sheets. Sleek "iPhone-like" dials allow visitors to intuitively select from years of data. The custom dials are programmed to give them a more realistic feel as they are manipulated on the touchscreen.
The magnifying "glass" feature can be dragged over any point on the map, allowing visitors to view detail on the map, including in the changing overlays. The Arctic Choices exhibit is part of Vancouver Aquarium's Canada's Arctic - In the Grip of Change exhibition.

Ideum’s in-house Industrial Design team did a great job matching form with function with the new Colossus. The fully redesigned Colossus touch table, with a massive 86″ display, is now available. Like its predecessor, this new version of the Colossus has a 4K Ultra HD display, is hardened for public spaces, and supports up to eight simultaneous users. We’ve updated the touch screen and the powerful integrated computer system in the table base. The overall table form factor is sleeker, as seen in such design touches as the crafting of a slimmer cradle for the top display that sheds inches from the previous design (it is now only 3″ thick).

An interactive multitouch enabled Google map with KML overlays allows visitors to pan and zoom around the L.A. Basin while learning about the weather patterns, wind currents, geologic make-up, and vegetative patterns that have shaped the landscape of southern California.
A unique interface switches between English and Spanish, as participants toggle between visual overlays that highlight the fire, air, water, and geologic conditions of the basin. Thematic overlays illustrating phenomenon such as fire risk, water supply, Santa Ana wind patterns, and fault line distribution tell the story of a landscape shaped by a diverse set of influences. Geo-tagged photo and video content, managed by Flickr, is displayed across the map. Visitors can explore this content through the use of intuitive gestures, building the basins story through discovery. Flipping the images over reveals embedded metadata to assist the exhibit narrative.
Designed to run on Ideum's multitouch and multiuser table platform, this versatile exhibit allows several visitors to explore content simultaneously. Using multitouch gestures, users can scale, zoom, and pass virtual objects around the table. Title, author, and narrative information about each photograph can be viewed in context in English and Spanish, with the photos source tied visually to its location on the underling map.
The multitouch software was developed using GestureWorks, Adobe Flash, Google Maps, and KML. Content management is handled via Flickr. This versatile multiuser Google Maps Flickr mashup can be reconfigured for the display of other geographic locations.

After more than one and a half years of development, the world biggest multitouch multi-user wall has now been launched at Nürburgring.
The two-piece ring°wall consists of a LED display and a multitouch information-wall and impresses by its size: a total surface of 425 square meters, which equals more than 6000 computer displays, is the biggest of its kind. An interactive World emerges out of 34 million pixels generated by 15 high definition projectors and is supported by 30 directional speakers.
Multitouch sensors basing on laser technology, convert the usage of the natural user interface into an experience. By direct touching, more than 80 users can simultaneously get informed about news and activities around the ringworld.
The interactive wall is not only a central information system, but also an innovative advertising tool and medium for public viewings.
