Are there perhaps THREE iron washers on that pivot? A fat one in the middle and two thinner ones? So that the extended blade aligns better, maybe? Modern jack-knife collectors tend to fuss about a very straight blade alignment.

The smoothness of the holes in this bizarre formation was startling. I stared, gobsmacked, for a while before propping my camera on my makeshift tripod - phone, multitool and baseplate and gunning for a long exposure. I wanted the pools to look still to accentuate the rushing water at the back.

Why does a multitool handle need a "lyre" and a "shield"? I can understand an "army knife" being decorated with a "shield" pattern, but a "lyre" is hard to understand.
