Et bien voilà, ce qui devait arriver est arrivé. A force de piloter l'AR.DRONE offert à Noel, à force de regarder les vidéos de multirotors sur youtube, les captures FPV à droite à gauche, de discuter avec des fans de RC. A force de lire les aventures de certains dans la construction de leurs machines, j'ai craqué. L'odeur du fer à souder a été le plus fort. Je n'ai pas pu résister à l'appel du ciel…
Me voici lancé dans la construction d'un quadri. Après des semaines aux commandes de l'AR.DRONE, je passe donc à la vitesse supérieure. L'objectif: FPV (comme (F)irst (P)erson (V)iew ou Vol en Immersion) et Photos aériennes

Skateboarding and graffiti seem to go hand in hand. I am not the biggest fan of the senseless tagging that seems to be more prevalent these days, I do like the more artistic pieces and some are nothing short of spectacular. If nothing else it adds colour to some otherwise fairly drab and boring areas.
This is one of my earlier images taken using my DJI Phantom Vision 2+ UAV, drone, RPA, quadcopter and is nothing special. I like the different perspective and gritty feel of the image.

DJI branded Manfrotto Phantom 3 backpack. For prop bolt covers, simplest is those little white caps for finishing wire shelving ends, avilable at any local hardware store.
If there are any additional shots you would like let me know. As you can see, fits all you need for a bit of flying along with a tablet for editing and a backup android if the iPad Air 2 stops working for whatever reason.

Dernière étape, le positionnement du reste de la station avec du scratch double-face: Récepteur vidéo sur le haut, contrôleur/batterie des lunettes d'un coté et LIPO 3S avec alerte basse tension de l'autre coté. Tous les câbles passent par les aération et sont fixés dans la doublure du casque en polystyrène, soit avec de la colle chaude (fixation définitive), soit avec des petits passe câbles (pour pouvoir le démonter au besoin -- ex. les lunettes)
Just got home and processed this one of many. Met several great people down at the waterfront tonight. VERY windy yet the Inspire 1 held it's own for a 1sec exposure. The gimbal did it's job.

Mount Canobolas, at an elevation of 1,395 metres above sea level, is the highest mountain in the central tablelands district of New South Wales, Australia.
The mountain is of volcanic origin. The northern slopes of the mountain, with fertile volcanic soil, are becoming a popular cold-climate wine producing area. The top of the mountain is now dominated by numerous towers used for television and radio transmissions across large areas of central New South Wales. These transmitters include towers for Airservices Australia, Royal Australian Air Force, Prime Television, WIN Television, Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Southern Cross Ten.
