Letterpress print from my Famous People with MS Series

For the first time video cameras were granted unrestricted access into our programs. What they captured was truly amazing.

I signed up for the MS walk on a bright, sunny, early spring day. Needless to say, the weather reverted to cold, gloomy, and grey for the actual walk.

How I started June 2, 2009.

First, I have a plastic bottle of sugar filled but yummy Tranquilo flavored Vitamin Water - (is this meant to make me tranquil?). I'll use this water to wash down a handful of morning medicines that are in the Jack Daniels shot glass.

My favorite mug is full of my favorite really nice, dark and freshly ground Guatemalan coffee. The tall blue thing is my new ecologically better than vitamin water, stainless steel water bottle (must stay hydrated to flush all the meds in the shot glass out of my system ASAP so as not to destroy my kidneys and/or liver).

Last, we have the veritable bane of my existence - that big mountain of paper for me to make sense out of. It is nothing but medical bills (from doctors, hospitals, labs, radiologists, other people I've never heard of, physical therapists, MRI's etc), receipts for pharmaceuticals, explanations of benefits from insurance company and bills for health insurance premiums. Oh yeah, and that only covers 14 months.

What fun!

Happy, happy, joy, joy.
