If you stand still for long enough while looking down the straight, the cars themselves tend to fade into the background as the roar of the engines fills the air around you.
I suspect it’s something to do with the excitement of the race. Failing that it’s the amount of Castrol R you inhaled as you walked around the paddock before the race began.
Petrol head indeed.
Just riding in a car, seeing everything pass by, houses, trees and the eternal light that turns and twists as the car is changing its road. Winter is coming to an end.
my interpretation of the dead trees at Benacre (Suffolk) on a cloudless sunrise....A 3 image ME and ICM at 55mm and 0.8 seconds , blended in camera ....bit out there but I found it strangely compelling :)....thanks for looking

L’automne, fall… and the second photo is a Mix of photos of the same place, multiple exposure and superposition.
Multiple Exposure in camera, 2 shots and a zerene stack : 28 photos for detail, merged in photoshop cs6.
Had never heard of multiple exposure and looked it up and tried it out, it was fun. Also used LED light and flashlight.
Multiple exposure taken in the Dolomites which I then treated to a large dose of textures and paint blobs in post.
Oddly enough, this is the same set of photos as the previous version, but this time starting from a different exposure and emphasising two different frames. Obviously I've chosen a square crop and also elected to show this one in colour.
23 hand-held exposures representing two minutes and 36 seconds of motion around the subject.
