Regular viewers of my images may recall last early Summer (2020) me finding some small inconsequential looking Iris-type blooms. I have been waiting for them to appear this year and yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to find the first bloom. It has a different colouration to the 2020 version and perhaps a little smaller.

Boring shot, but just an experiment. 6 exposures, 8 seconds each at F8. Manual focus, manual setting, manual WB.
