This is an in camera multiple exposure taken with my Fuji S7000. Processing work plays no part in the effect, consisting purely of RAW conversion, curves, de-noising, doging & burning and sharpening.

I wandered around my yard using my canon eor r and my lensbaby velvet 56 with settings for 5 shot multiple exposure. I didn't do much post processing but did add filters with the software on my computer. I'm happy with some of the patterns that were captured.

I remember being a little apprehensive on this particular day as it was when we were about to leave our holiday home in France for the UK. Due to my wife's lack of mobility due to her broken leg and the long car journey ahead mainly. Careful planning and a good night's sleep beforehand smoothed the way.

My wife faces another surgical procedure in the New Year to ensure her best possible recovery.

Just a glance at a short series of images I made on this day brought back the buried memories of that stressful time.

Manic is described as showing wild and apparently deranged excitement and energy.
